With miserable winter running (hopefully) done and dusted until later in the year, its time runners began planning their summer jaunts. As leggings and thermals are replaced with shorts and T-shirts, a new summer-ready pair of runners fit for the occasion might also be on the wish list.
After debuting its Adizero Adios Pro in a “Signal Coral” colorway last year -- before “Sunrise Bliss” and “Dream Mile” followed soon after -- adidas Running returns for 2021 with an all-new “Screaming Orange” colorway of the world record-breaking sneaker.
Flexible, breathable and lightweight, the Adizero Adios Pro boasts a “Screaming Orange” Celermesh upper that sits atop a Lightstrike Pro foam midsole. Returning energy with every stride, the midsole houses carbon-infused rods and a carbon heel plate, alongside optimal cushioning.
Designed for faster, longer runs, the Adizero Adios Pro has already proven its worth by breaking a handful of world records, including a 57 minute 32 second half-marathon in Valencia last year.
Now in its fourth iteration, the Adizero Adios Pro “Screaming Orange” is set to launch on March 1 via the adidas webstore and will retail at £170 (approximately $240 USD).
In other sneaker news, Nike has given its Air Zoom Tempo NEXT% a crisp "Hyper Turquoise" makeover.
