Porsche has released a 90-minute documentary showcasing one of 2019's most grueling events in the endurance racing world.
Aptly named ENDURANCE, the James Routh-directed documentary takes on a period in June last year where 24 different competitors endeavored to race for 48 hours in a span of just slightly more than a week. While it features first the Le Mans 24-hour race on June 15, followed by another 24-hour race at the Nürburgring the very next weekend, the whole filming began roughly four weeks before the former, documenting the team's preparation work including test drives in Italy and Germany, as well as interviews from Porsche's Director of Factory Motorsport Pascal Zulinden or drivers Kévin Estre, Michael Christensen, Laurens Vanthoor, and Matt Campbell. Of course, it also stars the two famous racers -- 911 RSR and 911 GT3 R.
ENDURANCE is now available for free on YouTube and subsequently Amazon Prime Video on April 3.
Elsewhere in the automotive world, a rare 1966 Ferrari 275 GTS is currently up for sale.
