New Balance ML850 Appears in Clean “Grey/White”

The New Balance ML850 is set to continue its comeback with a clean "Grey/White" colorway. Kicking things off with a re-release at Aimé Leon Dore earlier this year and continuing its momentum with rumblings of a No Vacancy Inn collaboration, the ML850 has once again become a cult favorite among street style-savvy individuals. This redux is undeniably fitting, as the ML850 was one of the first New Balance products to be intentionally geared towards a younger audience when it originally released in 1996.

Providing just enough bulk to ensure an ample amount of substance without being dubbed a "dad shoe," this ML850 features a colorway that's centered around three main pieces and materials. The first of these is its black mesh base, which is quickly accented by grey suede trim and overlays that reach from the heel to the forefoot. Finally, a cut-out white leather mudguard finalizes the upper's stacked look.

This trio is then offset by pops of hot red on the tongue and collar. More red appears on the NB hit towards the heel. It's no mistake that this branded embellishment stands out: the ML850 was the first New Balance shoe to replace the classic N motif with an alternate NB hit. A white midsole and outsole round things off.

The New Balance ML850 "Grey/White" will release at retailers like Sneakersnstuff on December 14. The MSRP is set at $120 USD.
