Thanks to Virgil Abloh’s collaborations with Nike/Jordan Brand, he has created various trends that have been used by countless brands on countless sneakers. One of the most popular is the use of exposed details on a shoe, specifically the foam on the tongue of a shoe, which started way back in the early days of tennis shoes. Nike has used it on a variety of their new and old silhouette as of late and the latest example comes with the timeless Nike Air Force 1.
This AF1 Low gets covered in a Cool Grey suede on the majority of the upper with a light grey hitting the mesh side panels. Finshing features include the exposed foam tongue, orange on the Nike branding that appears on the tongue and insoles, a white midsole, and dark grey rubber outsole. Look for this Air Force 1 to arrive at select Nike retailers in the near future. Will you cop?
