Nike Is Restocking Its Auto-Lacing Adapt BB

For those who missed the first round of releases for Nike's tech-fuelled Adapt BB, fret not as the shoe will soon be restocked. The restock will see all three of the previously-released colorways — the original blue colorway, the dark grey colorway, and the latest "Wolf Grey" option — available for purchase once again.

For those unfamiliar with the sneaker, it uses Nike's HyperAdapt power-lacing system to provide a perfect, custom fit. According to the sportswear maker, “when a player steps into the Nike Adapt BB, a custom motor and gear train senses the tension needed by the foot and adjusts accordingly to keep the foot snug. The tensile strength of the underfoot lacing is able to pull 32 pounds of force (roughly equal to that of a standard parachute cord) to secure the foot throughout a range of movement.” The wearer can then make adjustments via the two buttons on the midsole or with a connected smartphone, as well as save various settings and presets for different occasions.

To get your hands on a pair of Nike's Adapt BB, head over to Nike's website, where the restocked pairs will be available August 14 at 10 pm EST, for a retail price of $350 USD.

Elsewhere in sneakers, adidas Consortium has revamped its '90s Trediac silhouette with new Torsion System technology.
