2018 has seen Dillon Francis as a very busy man. Outside of music, he’s confirmed a new show on Comedy Central, Living The Dream, where he’ll be writing, acting and producing, as well as contributing new music. He successfully pulled off a stunt for his upcoming Verizon Go90 series Like and Subscribe by putting up a security-fronted, “influencers only” mural in LA. In the studio, he’s been unstoppable, from remixing Cardi B’s #1 hit, to his slew of sharp Latin-influenced dance singles from a long awaited moombah-inspired project starting with “Ven” earlier this year. Now the hotly anticipated album, WUT WUT, finally has a release date via his newly minted label IDGAFOS, on September 27.
Not stopping there, Francis has released a 1980’s Miami-themed video for the album’s next single, “Never Let You Go.” The Latin-pop track features De La Ghetto on vocals, roping in the all satirical charm we’ve come to expect from Francis for the new video. The “Hello There” producer continues to be the gift that keeps giving, debuting the new video along with a WUT WUT sample EP comprised of his previously released singles.
