T-Pain has become yet another auto-tuned pop icon to enter into the EDM world, joining peers like Akon, Lil’ Jon, and more. This time, the “I’m Sprung” singer provided unreleased vocals for songs titled “Do Wrong” and In The Air” to the fledlging imprint Dubset for a plethora of established bass acts to work them into a raucous mixture of tracks that will please the entirety of their intended audience.
Bad Royale was one such act to get their hands on the vocals, working T-Pain’s piece “Do Wrong” into a smooth trap concoction complete with a dynamic drop, a thick bass-line, and robotic synths galore. Though seemingly meant for the festival dance-floor, T-Pain’s scandalous vocals soften the edges a bit of Bad Royale’s take, making it a good listen for virtually any setting that will accomplish its goal of amplifying a festive mood.
