Listen to Oscar and the Wolf’s dark track ‘Honey’

Belgian artist Oscar and the Wolf is one of Europe’s fastest rising talents, with a unique blend of dark pop and R&B sounds that have helped him developed quite the following. The young artist has even been endorsed by musical icon Elton John and Billboard over the course of his short, yet impactful career.

His latest single “Honey,” is a part of his self-titled North-American debut EP. The track seamlessly blends happy, light elements with darker, heavier ones to produce a unique sound.

In his own words, “Oscar is poetic — it represents the side of me that’s a daydreamer. But the wolf is an animal that howls at the moon, so it symbolizes the loneliness that’s inside me.”

“Honey” does well to showcase the ease with which Oscar and the Wolf can balance these contrasting elements, and is a testament to his talent and success.
